Organic cotton

The majority of non-organic products are grown in countries with water shortages. However, the organic cotton purchased by Far Afield does not contribute negatively to the scarcity of supplies. Organic cotton farmers use healthier soil that retains water much more efficiently, especially during droughts. They rely heavily on rainwater rather than extracting it from the ground, which can impact their local communities. Special attention is also paid to ensure that non-harmful pesticides are used on crops.
