May28th was born in Toronto, Canada, in 2010 under the influence of Lithuanian designer and entrepreneur Agni Tilla and her husband, Janis. What began as a hobby, producing only a few watches in a single copy, handmade, quickly became an institution in fashion accessories. Only a few weeks after their watches went live on their website, a New York blog noticed them and published an article about the brand. And only a few hours later, they are already out of stock.

The couple then decided to devote themselves to this new adventure and to start full-time. And for the name, they simply choose the date of their wedding anniversary). They have since made thousands of watches, sold around the world in the coolest boutiques on the planet (Urban Outfitters, Selfridges, MoMA in San Francisco, Tate Museum in London etc.), launched new accessories, and moved their studio to Barcelona, Spain where the team and production are based.
